Paideia Student Publishes on Augustine, Wisdom and the Psalms

Benjamin Quinn, one of Paideia's doctoral students, has recently published the following journal article:

"Augustine's Wise Preaching of the Psalms," Southeastern Theological Review 2.1 (2011): 53-70.

Translations of The Drama of Scripture and Living at the Crossroads

The Paideia Centre for Public Theology wishes to congratulate two of its own--Craig Bartholomew (Principal) and Michael Goheen (Fellow in Mission and Worldview Studies)--on the translation of two of their books. The Drama of Scripture: Finding Our Place in the Biblical Story has now been published in Bangladeshi (Muhammadpur, Dhaka: Padma Educational Services Ltd., 2010) and Living at the Crossroads: An Introduction to Christian Worldview (Seoul: Korea IVP, 2011) in Korean (see the lovely image of the book below).

Calvin Seerveld's The Greatest Song and Ecclesiastes at Redeemer

From November 22 - 26 the Theatre Arts Department at Redeemer University College is presenting Calvin Seerveld's adaptations of the Song of Songs and Ecclesiastes. Cal is a Fellow in Philosophical Aesthetics at Paideia.

The Holy Spirit and Biblical Hermeneutics

Craig Bartholomew was a respondent in a recently published multi-author volume on the Holy Spirit and biblical hermeneutics. The volume is called Spirit and Scripture: Exploring a Pneumatic Hermeneutic, edited by Kevin L. Spawn and Archie T. Wright (Continuum, 2011).
